TIP is the best ranked higher education degree awarding institute in Sindh, and among the premier most institutes of Pakistan.
It is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and carries an independent degree awarding charter from the Government of Sindh under the Sindh Ordinance No.XV of 2001 and a five star rating from the Charter Inspection and Evaluation Committee (CIEC).
