NTS GAT-SUBJECT Graduate Assessment Test for Ph.D 27-11-2011


































NTS GAT-SUBJECT Graduate Assessment Test for Ph.D 27-11-2011. Last date for registration is 03-11-2011.

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has assigned National Testing Service (NTS) the responsibility to conduct GRE Type Test i.e. Graduate Assessment Test GAT-SUBJECT for Ph.D Programs.
Subject Test helps to evaluate, analyze, solve problems, understand relationships and interpret material in a specific area of study.
* The test result will remain valid for "TWO YEAR" for admissions.
Candidates with a minimum of eighteen years of education are eligible to appear in the test.
  • Candidate intending to improve their previous GAT Score can also apply.
  • The candidates will have to qualify other specified criteria of the Universities.
* Mobile phones are not allowed in Test Center Premises.
* As per HEC policy decision, the GAT test validity (GAT - General / Subject) for TWO YEARS will be effective from 1st January 2007 onwards.

    Total Questions (MCQs) = 100 Total Test Time = 120 Minutes (2 Hours) Test Type: Paper Based
Test Contents:
    General Section = 30% of the Total Test Subject Section = 70% of the Total Test
Areas of General Section:
    English (Verbal) = 15% Analytical Reasoning = 15%

    GRE-GENERAL Local Commonwealth Scholarship Program 2012
    COMMONWEALTH GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2012

    The Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC Division) has assigned the task of conducting the Local GRE-General test for Higher Studies to the National Testing Services (NTS).
    Applications are invited for studying abroad under the Commonwealth General Scholarships Program for the year 2012. Scholarships are Fully Funded and final selection will be made by the donor country.
    Scholarships are expected to be offered by U.K, Canada, Brunei, New Zealand and Malaysia.

    Instruction (Important):

    The CommonWealth scholarship commission U.K has offered scholarships in any of the following categories
    *
    One year taught masters course or equivalent degrees.
    *
    Six months of clinical training in medicine or dentistry.
    *
    Doctoral degrees of up to three years duration. The candidates who wish to undertake extensive periods of fieldwork in home country.
    *
    One year research on a split-site basis, towards a Ph.D registered at a university in pakistan.

    Following Degree Holders Can Apply:
    • A candidate must hold a Masters Degree/ B.Sc Honors (4 years), from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.
    • Students awaiting result are not eligible to apply.
    • Please attach your complete academic credentials with filled Application Form to apply.
    How to Apply:
    Candidates are required to send their applications on prescribed Application Form along with an online Deposit slip(in original) at the address given below. Please bank deposit online Rs. 650/- (Rupees Six Hundred and Fifty, Non Refundable/ Non-Transferablein the online branches of HBL, UBL, ABL or MCB.
    => By hand submission of Application Form will not be entertained (Send filled Application Form through any courier service or Postal Service).
